Courier Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Orbital Kitchens Holdings Group, Inc. ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the Courier App, used by couriers to accept, navigate, and complete deliveries on our platform.
Information we collect

Account: email and password, used to authenticate your session.

Location: GPS coordinates recorded continuously while you're checked in (roughly every 10–30 seconds depending on your status), used to assign orders, route you, and confirm arrival at drop-offs. A one-time location check also confirms you're at a facility when checking in.

Camera: used to scan pickup QR codes and capture proof-of-delivery photos, uploaded to our cloud storage (Microsoft Azure). We don't access your photo library.

Device/notifications: a push token (via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to alert you to new assignments.

Motion and Bluetooth: used only to improve automatic arrival detection during deliveries (see Section 2).

Customer information: during a delivery, the App shows you the customer's name, address, phone number, and order details so you can complete the drop-off. Treat this as confidential.
We do not access your contacts, photo library, health data, or biometric data, and we do not use advertising identifiers or analytics/tracking SDKs.
Background Location
The App requests "Always" location access so it can detect your arrival at a drop-off even when the App is backgrounded or your screen is off, enabling automatic delivery confirmation instead of a manual step. This background monitoring is scoped to roughly a 250-meter radius around an active drop-off address; the continuous shift-long location reporting described above runs separately whenever you're checked in. Disabling location access in your device settings will prevent you from going online or accepting deliveries.
How we share information

Our own dispatch systems, to assign and track orders.

Doorstep.ai, which receives your background location, Bluetooth, and motion data directly from your device during an active delivery to detect arrival, and shows a visible "delivery in progress" notification on Android while doing so. This stops when you leave the drop-off area, complete or cancel the delivery, or after two hours.

Google Firebase, for push notification delivery only (no analytics or ads).

Apple Maps / Google Maps, for navigation.

Microsoft Azure, for proof-of-delivery photo storage.

Customers, who may see your first name and delivery status.

Legal/safety authorities, when required by law or necessary to protect safety.
We do not sell your information or share it for third-party advertising.
Retention, Access, Deletion
We retain location, delivery, and photo records as long as needed for dispatch, support, accounting, and legal/safety recordkeeping. Your account and its data are managed through our internal dispatch platform; to request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at tech@orbitalkitchens.com and we'll route your request accordingly. If you're in California, the EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you can exercise them through the same contact.
Your Controls
You can manage camera, location, and notification permissions in your device settings, though disabling location or camera will limit core functionality. Logging out stops location reporting, removes your push token, and clears local session data from your device.
Security
We use encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure on-device credential storage, and access controls limiting who can view courier and delivery data.
Children
The App is for couriers meeting the minimum working age in their jurisdiction and is not directed to children.
